Who Are We?
Thermography Medical Imaging of Acadiana is an eductional instutution first. We work in partnership with local career colleges to train medical assistants, nursing assistants, phlebotomists, and of course medical thermography techs. We work in partnership with NAMASTE Wellness Center (Lafayette, LA), DHARMA Wellness Center (Sunset, LA), LITEON Natural Health Center (Carencro, LA) and Saint Christopher College (Carencro, LA). Our students are trainined in a standard of care curriculum approved by the Louisiana Board of Regents for proprietary schools (career colleges). Thermography is taught as a screening technology and diagnostic imaging procedure (Pg. 1158 of the course textbook under clinical medical assisting) approved by the FDA.
Secondly, Thermography Medical Imaging of Acadiana provides annual health fairs and expos through our Partners in Healtcare conference series. Each year we sponsor an expo for local physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, health insurance companies, hospitals, etc. attend and provide free health screenings and talks on healthcare topics.
